Megan Wallin-Kerth (she/her)

Youth Ministry Director

Megan Wallin-Kerth grew up in the Seattle area and moved to Oregon after graduating from Washington State University’s campus in Vancouver, Washington with a B.A. in Human Development and minors in Psychology and Addiction Studies. She’s the mom of two daughters, and all share their home with a large labrador-mix, a cat, and an obscenely large book collection.

She’s worked as a tutor, BRS Counselor, residential counselor, Montessori teacher, mental health intake specialist, writer, and editor. (Obviously, she endorses the Oxford comma.)  Outside of work, there’s a good chance of running into her on a hiking trail, at a museum, or anywhere with live music and good food.

As Southminster’s Family Life Director, her goal is to welcome families and help children learn, share, and even question their beliefs in a safe environment. She’s excited to build connections and help families find their place within our community. Ideas and feedback are always welcome, so please reach out with anything you’d like to see happen either now or in the future!
