Pastor
Kris has lived in Portland for 25 years and he comes to Southminster as a transitional pastor. He has served one other church as an interim and three others as an installed pastor. He also has a background as an educator. Sandwiched between serving churches, he taught for 18 years, mostly as a middle school teacher in East County. Kris and his wife, Susan, have been married for 33 years and he has two adult children, Henry and Ellie. Susan has been a long-time member of a Mennonite church in Portland, but she may visit Southminster occasionally. He’s so glad to join this community during this important time of transition!
