Front Porch Rockers

That may not be the name of the new program under the oversight of the Deacons, but it is the spirit.  We have people in our congregation who could use a visit on occasion.  It might be hard to get out and they could use the company. This is an opportunity to bring our church community to them.  We need to have some of you willing to sit on the front porch with these folks and tell lies (as we say in     Appalachia).   Mark your calendars for Tuesdays July 26 and August 2 for a course on how to sit and tell lies on the front porch.   How to visit, how to listen, that sort of thing.  No obligation.  Just come for the learnin’ and if you think you might like to try to be a Front Porch Rocker, we’ll fix you up.  7-8:30 pm in the Petersen Gallery.
