Southminster’s Reading Group will meet again 7:00pm on Monday, February 8, in Room 9 to discuss The Dinner by Herman Koch. It promises to be an exciting read, variously described as “chilling, nasty, smart, shocking and unputdownable.” The dinner in question is attended by two sets of parents, who have to make a shattering decision. One critic writes: “The novel is designed to make you think twice, then thrice, not only about what goes on within its pages, but also the next time indignation rises up, pure and fiery, in your own heart.” Please join us, whether or not you’ve read The Dinner!
