Becoming the Change we want to see in the World…
What is Everyday Leaders? Everyday Leaders is our Sunday morning program for Grades 5-7. We begin in worship at 10:00am before breaking off to Room 9 and the Youth Lounge for an activity based discussion on what it means to be a leader. We examine leadership qualities, the lives of significant faith leaders, biblical leaders and we identify ways each of us can make a difference in our everyday lives and in the community.
This year, students will focus on PEACE and how Everyday Leaders are MAKING ALLIES, MAKING FRIENDS:
- Peace lessons from around the world
- Responding to Bullies and making Allies
- Keeping peace with the Earth
- Media consumption and promoting awareness
- Signing the World “PEACE” Pledge Poster
Everyday Leaders meets every Sunday at 10:00am-11:15am (donuts or goodies are always provided…)
First Sunday Breakfast - Students are invited to come early to the Youth Lounge at 9:40am for a fantastic BRUNCH before heading to Everyday Leaders!
