Rebuilding Together is Saturday, April 30, 2016

Rebuilding Together is a national organization that helps low-income home owners with home maintenance.  This helps the people to be able to stay in their homes.  Locally, the United Methodist Churches in Beaverton and Hillsboro coordinate the services.  During the year, home owners may receive some small repairs to their homes such as bars in a shower, repair plumbing, and other home repairs.  We take on larger projects on April 30 with many churches and community businesses joining together.  Our congregation has a long history of service for this event.  We provide people for the following:

  • Work crew to paint a house
  • People to help with registration
  • People to help deliver lunches to the various work sites

Please come join us on April 30, 2016.  Send me an email and note to let me know which job you are willing to do.  If you have questions, please give me a call.  (s) Karen Wittenburg, kwittenburg@comcast.net, (503) 781-0321.
